With the CADISON R25 release, the software consistently advances the digital transformation of plant engineering. Existing P&ID diagrams in PDF format can now be automatically converted into intelligent, database-driven P&IDs for the first time – quickly, reliably, and without manual re-creation.

At the same time, the new Share2Review provides a modern, web-based platform for design reviews and project coordination. Graphical version comparisons, object-based change tracking, and live 3D section views create transparency and accelerate decision-making across all project stakeholders.

Enhanced interfaces – particularly in the IFC environment – enable the consistent import and further processing of BIM models. CADISON R25 thus supports continuous data flows, reduces media breaks, and establishes a robust foundation for efficient, future-ready plant engineering.

• Automated PDF digitalization: P&ID diagrams in PDF format are converted directly into intelligent CADISON P&IDs –including geometry, text, components, and pipelines.
• Machine learning–based data recognition: Symbols, equipment, and pipelines are automatically detected and created as true database objects, while maintaining full control over the level of automation.
• Transparent digitalization: Color configuration options provide instant visual feedback on which elements have already been converted into digital CADISON objects and which still originate from the original PDF geometry.
• Share2Review: Web-based design reviews with graphical version comparisons, PDF redlining, comments, issue lists, and live 3D section views for efficient, structured collaboration.
• Enhanced interfaces: Optimized IFC import with native CADISON objects, as well as improved integration of CAD and Autodesk Inventor data, ensuring consistent BIM and engineering workflows.
